Welcome to St Margaret Clitherow’s New Pupil Information page. We are so excited for your child to start their school learning journey with us.
There is lots of information that we need from you about your child and there is lots you need to know about how things happen at St Margaret Clitherow’s.
In the links below, you will find the information from school, for example our Acceptable Use of ICT policy, our privacy notice (informing you of how school will use any of the data we collect about your child). There are also some examples of the forms we will ask you to fill in about your child e.g. who can collect your child and any medical issues they may have. We will issue you with paper copies of some of these forms for you to fill in and return to school.
We also collect a lot of information from you using our Arbor App e.g. your consent for your child being photographed in school and how we are allowed to use their image e.g. for displays, on our school Facebook page etc.
It is vital that you provide us with contact information on Arbor so we are able to contact you in case of an emergency. For children joining from other settings you will be able to access your Arbor login as soon as your child is registered with us.
Please can ALL parents ensure we have your up to date contact details – these can be updated at any time throughout the year through the Arbor App or by contacting the school office.
After reading, please login to your Arbor App (available in the Apple Store and Google Play Store) and confirm or deny your consents for the agreements you have read.
You can find out lots about our school by reading our school Prospectus. This will take you through what it is like to be a pupil in our school from the length of our school day to what our uniform looks like to when the children will be going into the hall for their lunch. Please take your time to read through the prospectus as it has lots of the answers to questions you may have.
