September 2020 Return to School – COVID-19 Arrival and Dismissal Times

In line with government advice we will be having staggered opening times in school from September, this is to try and reduce the amount of people on school site at one time. Children will not be asked to gather on the playground before the start of the school day and pupils are not expected to line up or gather on the yard in groups. Classroom doors will be open for your children to gain access to once they are on school site.

Nursery

Nursery children will access school as normal through their own Nursery entrance. For those children accessing morning provision we will continue to open from 8:45am and children will be dismissed from 11:30am onwards with doors closing at 11:45am.

Those children accessing afternoon provision, Nursery will be open from 12:15pm and you can collect your child from 3:00pm-3:15pm.

Reception and Key Stage One Classes (Key Stage one means any child in Year 1 and Year 2 classes)

There is no change for pupils in these classes and the normal school day applies. The children need to be in their classes from 8:55am and the end of the school day is 3:05pm

Key Stage Two Classes (Key Stage two means any child in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 classes)

All pupils in these classes will start their school day at 8:45am, however their classroom door will be open from 8:40am. Key stage two children will be dismissed from their classroom doors at 2:50pm.

If you have children who are in both key stage settings you are able to drop and collect all children at the earlier key stage two time, 8:40am and dismissal at 2:50pm. Please collect your child from the key stage 2 class first, before going to Reception or Key Stage One classes.

On September 2nd, when the children are back at school, the teachers will be stood at their classroom doors advising the children where they should be. Senior leadership team members will also be available to offer help.

Breakfast Club
